The Japan Probe Web site has quite a bit of information about Shijingshan Amusement Park park in China, which apparently saw no problem with wholesale duplication of America’s beloved Disneyland! In a follow-up report, the site says that the theme park is removing the most blatant violations — as if anything less than a massive apology and burning of offending materials could ever be enough!

The quality is high, but the tipoff is in the details — these supposed Disney characters are not in the correct proportions at all! If you see these folks wandering around the Magic Kingdom, trying to sign autographs and pose for pictures, be aware that they are not real Disney costumed characters at all, but rather clever frauds!
